Research of Interruption Performance of Miniature DC Circuit Breaker Based on Magnetic Properties and Position of Permanent Magnet
With the rapid development of DC transmission technology,the role of DC circuit breaker continues to rise in high and low voltage DC grids,whether the DC circuit breaker can reliably cut off the circuit has become the focus of research in the field of electrical appliances.Aiming at the arc can not be extinguished easily during the breaking of the DC breaker, this paper mainly takes the miniature DC circuit breaker arc-extinguishing process as the research object.Firstly, the arc motion process is analyzed, then further study the influence of the magnetic properties strength of the permanent magnet in different position on the arc electrodynamicsforce in the miniature DC circuit breaker and simulate it with Ansoft Maxwell software, The simulation results show that the miniatureDC circuit breaker has the best arc extinguishing effect when the weak magnetic permanent magnet is at the corner of the iron sheet.This paper provides an important reference for improving the reliability of miniature DC circuit breakers.
