Study on AgSnO2 Contact Material for the Electric Vehicles Power Switch
This paper states the common failures of several popular silver metal oxides in EV power switches at the conditions of DC 40V-60V, 10A-1000A.A new AgSnO2 has been introduced, the properties of Electrical life and electric arc have been improved by doping to modify the properties and changing the oxidation parameters to.The results show that the material has good welding resistance and low arc by comparing the welding force, arc duration and energy with several popular silver metal oxides in the simulation device at 2000A and 20A, which meets the demands of the electric vehicles power switches.
