Degradation Performance Analysis on Tantalum Capacitor
The performance of tantalum capacitor is important for the safe running in the system.Aiming at the degradation parameters of tantalum capacitor such as capacitance, dissipation factor and leakage current,test stresses with temperature and humidity are selected and test plan is designed.The parameters trend with 95 ℃ and 70% RH was obtained within 3200h and degradation mechanism is analyzed.The trend fitting method is put forward to.The degradation trend model for each parameter is determined, which is verified with the degradation trend at 95 ℃ and 85% RH.After lifetime distribution function and the maximum likelihood estimation are introduced, the average pseudo-lifetime model using each degradation parameter are developed.The results show that the failure of tantalum capacitor may be obviously expressed on the capacitance of tantalum capacitor firstly.
