Study on Calculation of Armature Actuation Time for Railway Relay Based on Electromagnetic Force
The stability and reliability of communication systems is determined by the electromagnetic relays.As one of important principles, the calculation of armature actuation time is meaningful to real-time monitoring.The electromagnetic relay selected as the research object,the contributions of this paper are that the electromagnetic system structure and principle of the railway signal relay were introduced, and the electromagnetic relay electrical parameter test was conducted.The current and voltage of electromagnetic relays were collected.The collected signal was filtered by wavelet analysis to obtain a smooth curve.The dynamic characteristics of the relay were analyzed.The calculation of electromagnetic force and the mechanical characteristic curve of the relay were combined.A calculation method of the armature actuation time based on the electromagnetic force was proposed.Then,according to the definition of the time parameter, the armature actuation time was calculated, and the absolute error satisfied the expected requirement.
