Vibration Signal Analysis of Miniature Circuit Breaker Based on Empirical Mode Decomposition

  Mini-circuit breaker, as a terminal electrical appliance, is one of the most important switching electrical appliances in the distribution network.If the fault occurs, it will seriously affect the personal and property safety of users.Therefore, the research on fault diagnosis of miniature circuit breakers is of great significance and value.The operating mechanism of miniature circuit breaker will form vibration wave with certain regularity and conduct along the mechanical mechanism when it is in action.In this paper, the empirical mode decomposition method is used to analyze the breaking and closing vibration signals of miniature circuit breakers, so as to extract their state characteristics and provide a reliable basis for fault detection of circuit breakers.
