Effect of Temperature Environment on Stress Relaxation of Spring Components within Hermetically Sealed Relay
The environmental test conditions of the temperature easily cause stress relaxation of the reed in the sealed electromagnetic relay, which in turn causes the relay contacts to fail.Firstly, this paper analyzes the mechanism of contact resilience caused by stress relaxation of relay reeds.Furthermore, the research work on the stress relaxation characteristics of reeds under normal high temperature experimental conditions, temperatureshock experimental conditions and super-stress temperature impact test conditions, and the degradation trend of relay contact static pressure was obtained.Finally, the paper analyzes the effects of initial static pressure and ambient temperature changes on the stress relaxation characteristics of the reed.
