MODELING AND DESIGN OF PVDF PLANAR HYDROPHONE BASED ON COMPOSITE BACKING

  In this paper,a PVDF planar hydrophone based on low-density composite backing is proposed.Based on the theoretical modeling of PVDF planar hydrophone with multi-layer composite as backing,the effects of laying order,laying direction and laying thickness of multi-layer composite on the response of hydrophone are analyzed.The modeling method of multi-layer composite materials is given.In addition,the receiving performance of PVDF hydrophone with metal backing and composite backing is compared and analyzed.
