FRACTURE ANALYSIS OF MULTIPLE CRACKS IN FUNCTIONALLY GRADED PIEZOELECTRIC MATERIALS BASED ON LAYERING METHOD
Functionally graded piezoelectric materials (FGPMs) are widely used in aerospace,military and other fields.The present paper is concerned with the stress,electric displacement and electric field strength around the multiple cracks of FGPMs subjected to mechanical field.Based on the constitutive relations,geometric relations and boundary conditions of FGPMs,the material parameters of the FGPMs are calculated by the layering method with continuous properties along the gradient direction in the model.The numerical calculation results show that the type of cracks distribution,the distance between the cracks,the crack size,the angle between the cracks are important factors in FGPMs plate.Furthermore,through the study of FGPMs under the mechanical field,the fracture parameters around the cracks can be used as a reference for the service life of FGPMs.
