THE RESEARCH ABOUT ACOUSTIC CHARACTERIZATION OF PANEL MATERIALS USING A PARAMETRIC ARRAY SOURCE
In order to reduce the influence of the sample edge diffraction on the sound absorption coefficient testing of the panel material,the acoustic performance of the parametric array source with the oblique incidence of the panel material sample is explored in this paper.By studying the acoustic scattering energy of different test frequencies and incident azimuths of sample under finite beam width excitation,the oblique absorption coefficient of the samples is obtained according to the principle of energy conservation.The simulation calculation and experimental research shows that the high directivity of the parametric array source can effectively reduce the edge diffraction for the finite-size sample,and verifies the feasibility of obtaining the sound absorption coefficient by measuring the scattering energy.
