Preparation of a-Bi2O3/BiOI and Its Photocatalytic Degradation of Dyes
Using bismuth nitrate pentahydrate(Bi(NO3)3·5H2O),sodium hydroxide (NaOH),oxalic acid(H2C2O4·2H2O) and hydroiodic acid (HI) as raw materials,rod-like α-Bi2O3 was prepared by hydrothermal method,and then α-Bi2O3/BiOI composite was prepared by in situ treatment.The samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).The effects of different BiOI contents on the photocatalytic properties of α-Bi2O3/BiOI composites were studied with Rhodamine B as the target pollutant.The results show that when the molar ratio of HI to α-Bi2O3 is 1∶5,the prepared α-Bi2O3/BiOI composite has the best photocatalytic performance.
