Research on Single Fiber Tensile Fracture Feature Extraction Based on Acoustic Emission

  Vibration signals will be generated when a single fiber is stretched and broken,and the signals have nonlinear and non-stationary characteristics.When a single fiber is broken,its signals contain different characteristic information.In this paper,a singular value decomposition (SVD) method for feature extraction of single fiber fracture signals is presented.The time-frequency matrix of signal is constructed by Hilbert-Huang transformation,and the singular value characteristic quantity of time series is obtained by singular value decomposition of the time-frequency matrix.Vibration signals generated by tensile fracture of single fiber of Polyester and Cotton were collected,and fuzzy c-means clustering was carried out for singular values of time-frequency matrix,and the results showed that the singular value characteristic quantity could accurately match different fracture states of single fiber.
