Preparation and Oil Absorption Properties of Polypropylene Nonwoven Fabric

  Absrtact:Temperature and electric field are two main factors affecting the diameter of molten electrospinning fibers.In this paper,auxiliary electrodes are introduced into the melt electrospinning system to make the electric field direction of auxiliary electrodes coincide with that of the original system.The superposition of the two electric fields enhances the electric field strength near the nozzle,increases the tensile force of the electric field on the melt jet,and makes the fibers finer in the process of melt electrospinning.In addition,the effect of electric field on fiber fineness and oil absorption performance was studied.The results of simulation and experiment show that the more stable the jet motion is,the more uniform the electric field is,and the finer the fiber diameter is.After changing the electric field distribution,the average diameter of the fibers decreased from 61.01 to 20.04 microns,and the oil absorption and oil retention of polypropylene nonwovens increased to a certain extent.
