Modulation-Specific Angle-of-Arrival Estimation Algorithm for Correlative Interferometry
Emitter localization via triangulation is a common task for spectrum management,and it is typically realized by angle-of-arrival(AoA)estimation with correlative interferometers installed within fixed or mobile monitoring stations.The AoA estimation technique is addressed and a modulation-specific algorithm is proposed.Simulation results show that,for a specific set of modulation types,namely the ones which are noncircular,both the accuracy of AoA estimation and that of localization are improved.
