Short-wave line-of-sight detection system ionospheric clutter Analysis and suppression methods
Short-wave Line-of-Sight Radar(HFLSR)is a new type radar detection system,which is used for Stealth Aircraft detection in recent years.The clutter of HFLSR was analyzed in the paper.There are three types clutter,which is ground-sea clutter,ionospheric direct reflect clutter and ionospheric back scatter clutter.It is proposed to use horizontally polarized antenna to suppress the near-surface sea clutter,suppress the direct reflection of the ionosphere by selecting the appropriate working frequency,and suppress the ionospheric return-scattering clutter by using the large timewidth signal.
