Design of Spoof Surface Plasmon Polaritons Transmission Line Based on Half-mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide
A spoof surface plasmon polaritons(SSPP)transmission line(TL)based on half-mode substrate integrated waveguide(HMSIW)is proposed and analyzed in this paper.The SSPP TL takes HMSIW waveguide as the general structure,and engraves a symmetrical uninterrupted winding-line in the middle of the waveguide.The simulated results indicate that the proposed SSPP TL performs a good transmitting characteristics in X band from 4GHz to 7GHz.The characteristics of slow wave transmission are verified by analyzing dispersion curve of transmission unit and the electric field distribution of TL at different frequencies.Compared with the existing SSPP TLs,the proposed TL is less energy loss,which is more suitable for long-distance SSPP transmission.
