Investigation on Electromagnetic Scattering from Multiple Objects above Rough Surface
A multi-iterative physical optics(PO)method is presented to investigate the composite scattering from multiple arbitrary objects above rough surface. In this method, the whole region are divided into the rough surface and multiple isolate object regions.PO method is applied to solve the electromagnetic currents on rough surface and every object, respectively. And a multi-iterative strategy is considered in coupling scattering, including the mutual interaction between rough interface and object,as well as the mutual interaction between any two objects. In numerical simulations, the bistatic normalized radar cross section(NRCS)of the composite model are computed by the multi-iterative PO method and are compared with those by the hybrid finite element –boundary integral(FE-BI)algorithm for HH and VV polarizations. The results show that the two methods match very well for most observed angles. In addition, the influence of some parameters on the composite scattering is investigated and discussed in detail.
