The Research on Life-signal Detection Based on Short-time Fourier Transform

  The terahertz(THz)wave has the superior Doppler characteristics since it has shorter wavelength than microwave and millimeter wave(MMW).As a result,in recent years,the detection of micro-motion by means of the terahertz radar has attracted researchers enormous interest.In this paper,a 0.22 THz radar system is built and the detection of life-signal with it is presented.Based on short-time Fourier transform(STFT),the life-signal is acquired under different breathing states.From the experimental results,the proposed methods performance is demonstrated.
