The microstrip beamforming array antenna of millimeter wave fuze
In view of the fact that the conventional millimeter wave fuze antenna cannot meet the requirements of miniaturization,high gain and specific direction pointing in a single antenna,the microstrip beamforming array antenna of millimeter wave fuze is designed.The antenna is made of an alumina thin film dielectric plate as a substrate,and a microstrip antenna array of a specific size and shape is etched on the surface.Experimental tests show that the antenna center frequency is 34.5GHz,and the reflection parameter S11 is less than-10dB in the 1GHz bandwidth at 34.02-35.05GHz.The antenna diameter is 16mm,which is 50%smaller than the conventional array antenna size.The antenna beam width is 36°,the angle between the antenna beam angle and the normal is 35°.The vertical illumination of the main beam of the antenna to the ground target can be realized within the falling angle of the fuze range between 36° to 72°.
