Design of 77GHz Differentially-Fed Antenna Array using Chebyshev Distribution
This paper presented a differentially-fed antenna array operating at 77 GHz.The series-fed antenna array is excited on the main radiation patch through coupled microstrip lines(MSLs),thus forming a mesh structure.In order to reduce the coupling effect,metallized vias are added between array columns.Then we change the feed form by adding two circulators.The antenna array has a bandwidth of about 3.5 GHz with respect to a return loss of 10dB.The 3 dB beam widths are 18 degrees and 30 degrees in the E-plane and the H-plane,respectively.The simulation result shows the good frequency stability of the gain at a certain bandwidth of the center frequency point.
