Comparison of Spark Plugs with Different Structures
In order to improve fuel economy and combustion efficiency,high electric field is essential for designing microwave spark plugs.The higher the electric field,the larger is the plasma kernel,and the more thorough is the resulting combustion.Thus,microwave spark plug structure is vital in achieving high electric field intensity.This paper compared the effects of three different spark plug structures on the electric field.Results indicated that all of them are resonant at 2.45 GHz,thus providing useful reference for microwave spark plug design.
