Analysis of Scattering Characteristics of Near-Field Ship Target
The electromagnetic scattering characteristics from near-field targets under same frequency are presented and studied according to the variations of the distances between the antenna and the target,which calculate by the Bouncing Ray Method(SBR)combined with the Physical Diffraction Theory(PTD).Under the beam irradiation,the electromagnetic scattering of the target can be significantly affected by the distance.The results of transmitting antenna with side-lobe are compared with the antenna without sidelobe and different results are obtained at the close distances,indicating that side-lobe have a great significance.At the same time,the main lobe and the first side-lobe are the main factors for the electromagnetic scattering.
