A Compact Dual-Band and Dual-Polarized Electromagnetic Band-Gap Structure

  In this paper,we present a compact dual-band and dualpolarized Electromagnetic Band-Gap(EBG)structure.The unit cell is composed of an inner folded rotated Jerusalem cross cell and four outer T-shaped cells.All of cells are connected with ground by via.The inner resonance cell operates in low frequency band,and outer resonance operates in high frequency band.Different frequency ratios can be obtained by adjusting the dimensions of inner and outer resonance cells.The greatest advantage of this EBG is that the adjustable range of frequency ratio is very wide.Additional results will be presented during the symposium.
