Tracking Algorithm with Data Fusion in Single Frequency Network-based MISO Passive Radar
There are two main reasons for discontinuous tracking of target: the missed detection in detection module and the failed data association in tracking module. In passive multistatic radars(PMR),the detection before tracking is usually performed for each bistatic transmit-receive pair via correlation, which is the same with the detection in bistatic radar and doesnt make full use of advantages of PMR.This letter mainly focuses on improving tracking performance by decreasing missed detection and then proposes a novel tracking algorithm with data fusion for single frequency network-based MISO passive radar(SMSPR).Firstly,in order to reduce the computational complexity, the proposed algorithm starts to detect and track by the conventional detect-then-track method. Then, when the data association between two sequential frames fails in tracking part, our system will perform detection based on the data fusion and the data association again for improving tracking performance. In addition,a fast implement technology of the proposed algorithm is presented for further decreasing computational complexity.Real data processing confirms the proposed algorithm.
