Weather Resistance Performance of Photovoltaic Glass with Various Antireflection Coatings
Antireflection coating has recently been widely applied on the outer surface of PV glass to improve the light transmittance. The transmittance of PV glass can decrease in different environments due to the corrosion of the antireflection coating layer. The decline in transmittance may vary for different coatings as well as in different climate conditions. In this work, the weather resistance performance of three different antireflection coatings were comparatively studied in different simulated climate conditions.Light transmittance before and after the 1000h damp heat test,200 times thermal cycle test and salt spray test was measured. Our results demonstrate that double-layer coating can enhance the weatherability of the antireflection layer in hot and humid environment but has no obvious improvement in the environment of large temperature difference or with salt fog.
