Synergistic Reaction of Biomass Constituents during Pyrolysis in Vinegar Residue
Synergistic reaction of three mayor biomass constituents in vinegar residue(VR)during pyrolysis is studied in situ using a thermo-gravimeter-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(TG-GC-MS).The results shows that the maximum weight loss rate temperature of VR and mixed biomass constituents with the same ratio as VR is both at 360℃,which indicates that VR pyrolysis behavior is mainly influenced by three mayor biomass constituents. The interactions between those polymers in VR are enhanced after pyrolysis of cellulose at the temperature range of 340-400 ℃.The interaction of cellulose and hemicellulose is in dominant role during pyrolysis bellow 360oC seen from pyrolysis product distribution.However,co-pyrolysis of cellulose and lignin is in the ascendant after 360 ℃ with the decomposition of hemicellulose. The alcohols increase from 7.31%at 360 ℃ to 25.36%at 420 ℃.The formation of lignin-derived products is also accelerated.
