Carnivalization of Dialogues among Mo Yans and Others In Life and Death Are Wearing me Out
In his works,Mo Yan has done all kinds of courageous experiments with his unique subtlety and penetration.He has smartly combined various elements of Modernism and Postmodernism with Chinese history and culture.In Life and Death Are Wearing me Out,Mo Yan,the name is an essential symbol and is an invisible thread of the story.Mo Yan,the author of the novel uses Mo Yan,the character in the novel,the author of many works in the story and one of the narrators in the book to show readers his Mo Yanstyle carnivaliazation of dialogues and polyphony.This paper intends to analyze this with M.M.Bakhtins theories about carnivaliazation,polyphony and Dialogics.This paper also aims to lead readers to entertain this distinctive style of Mo Yan and encourage them to dig out more special flavors in this novel and the other works of his and make readers get more feelings to read Mo Yan.
