Traumatic Narrative in Faulkners Absalom,Absalom!

摘要：

　　This paper focuses on the traumatic narrative in William Faulkners Absalom,Absalom!.On basis of the textual study of the text and traumatic theories,this paper has an analysis of the traumatic repression and storytelling as its redemption,and points out that storytelling as a strategy to overcome trauma cannot work in this text,for characters are all trapped in the past by repetition of Sutpens story.
