“William of All Trades--A Brief Introduction to William Godwin
William Godwin is remembered as one of the leading political and moral philosophers in late Enlightenment England,and his Enquiry Concerning Political Justice is regarded as the pioneering accounts of anarchism in the English language.However,his achievements in such fields as literature,child education and publishing industry of childrens books are basically ignored.This article gives a brief introduction to William Godwin,interpreting his roles as political and moral philosopher,novelist and biographer,as well as writer and publisher of British childrens literature.
