Postgraduates ESP Teaching of Chinese Medicine Universities--Taking Changchun University of Chinese Medicine as an Example
College English teaching reform has been in the discussion for a long time,which has been taken as a critical point to determine the trend of college English teaching in future.The current situation is that quite a few of the students will encounter lots of difficulties when they have chances to communicate or work with the target language.The problem is they know little or nothing of English related to their major or job especially for the postgraduates who have learned many years of EGP and have a strong desire to study medical English which help them to know the latest news of medicine to finish their experiment or research.So ESP(English for specific purposes)is taken as a way to solve this problem.In this case,the English teaching reform is badly needed and this paper will analyze this question from several aspects such as the reality of English teaching,the necessities of teaching reform,how to build up the reasonable course curriculum,how to make a good quality of teaching staff,and the choice of the textbooks etc.In order to further or vividly illustrate this point,the teaching practice in Changchun University of Chinese Medicine will be taken as an example.
