A Case Study on TeachersInformation Literacy in Foreign Language Teaching at University Level in Xinjiang

  This case study investigated the current practice of educational informatization in foreign language teaching in a key university in Xinjiang from the teachers perspective.This research revealed the participatesdissatisfactions with information resources and facilities.Participants can make good use of information facilities and resources in both teaching activities and communication.Teaching length influence participantsinformation literacy significantly.Participants hope that IT-based foreign language education can be improved through the perspectives of construction,devotion and training.
