Implementing PAL between Higher Education Institutions in a Distance Learning Framework
The use of peer-assisted learning(PAL)in higher education environments has been established as an effective learning strategy,especially under the circumstance that information technology has begun to permeate learning in various ways and cross-cultural communications has become a common occurrence.This paper contains pilot PAL practice between Sino-America higher education institutions with students of different linguistic and cultural backgrounds in a distance learning framework,which aims at provide guidance of supporting PAL in long-distance learning cross-culturally in higher education.
