Paratexts and the Construction of the Chinese System of Discourse on Translation

　　Paratexts are of great significance and potential for translation studies and it is particularly the case in China.They are not only the major part of the traditional discourse on translation,but also are often used as translation strategies.As China is striving to construct its modern system of translation discourse,paratexts should play an important role in attaining the goal.
