A Study on the Relationship between Art & PE StudentsMajors and EFL Learning Motivation
The present study was an attempt to investigate the relationship between majors of Art,Music,Dance and Physical Education EFL learners and their motivation toward English language learning.To perform this,120 Art & PE students studying at Northeast Normal University in China were selected to participate in this research.In order to measure the EFL learnersmotivation toward learning English,a motivational questionnaire including 29 items was administrated to all four groups of the present study.At last,in order to find any relationship between majors of Art & PE students and their language learning motivation and to examine any differences among Art,Music,Dance and Physical Education EFL learners in terms of language learning motivation,a questionnaire with Likert five scale was used.The results revealed that there was relationship between majors of Art & PE students and their language learning motivation.Language teachers and researchers should give due weight to inspire Art & PE studentslanguage learning motivation.
