A Novel Biomimetic Design Method Based on Biology Texts Under Network
Most of works on biomimetic design methods are devoted to provide an artificially built biological information database and make engineering design depending on inspiring.Though using these approaches can improve work efficiency on biomimetic design,it sometimes limits the scope of thinking.Here we provide an approach that using natural language text of biological from network to expand design ideas.In addition,a new biomimetic design mode is proposed by building tree model of engineering object.This paper descript how to retrieve biological texts from network and make text processing,then introduce a text matching algorithm combining with TRIZ to map engineering design problems to biological texts.After obtaining biological texts by using match algorithm,a novel method to guide product design with these texts is proposed.At the end of this paper,an example of dust collector design is used to explain the whole process.
