1 General Introduction Ultrasonic imaging is one of the most commonly used medical diagnostic tools for providing both anatomical and physiological information.One of the important ultrasonic imaging quality factors is spatial resolution in both lateral and axial directions 1.It is obvious that an increase in frequency,results in a reduction in both wavelength and pulse duration,while also enhancing the spatial resolution laterally and axially.
