A theoretical model for electromechanical response of carbon nanotube fiber
General Introduction Carbon nanotube fibers,wire-like macroscopic assemblies of carbon nanotubes,have been an attractive material with a lower density than traditional metal conductor,environment stability under severe conditions,excellent mechanical performance with a Youngs modulus and strength in the ranges of 1.0 TPa and 50 GPa,respectively,and ultrahigh electrical conductivity as high as 108 S·m-1 for SWCNTs1-4.
