MECHANICAL PROPERTY ANALYSIS AND OPTIMAL DESIGN FOR COMPOSITE TAPE SPRING HINGE

Tape spring is an open cylindrical shell with an initial curvature.Different hinges consisting of tape springs bear the task of connecting solar panels.In solar panel deployment process tape spring hinge at the same time can achieve self-driving,self-locking functions and with no friction between each other.The particularity of tape spring itself determines its difference in mechanical properties.
