ACOUSTIC WAVE MODULATION FOR CELL MANIPULATION BASED ON SAW

摘要：

1 Introduction Acoustic tweezers technology based on surface acoustic wave(SAW) has been continuously applied in cell sorting,cell arrangement and three-dimension cell culture due to their high energy efficiency and miniaturization.In order to maintain the viability of various kinds of cells,the risk for damaging cells caused by thermal effect of sound field should be minimized as far as possible when satisfying the performance of SAW.Continuous wave(CW) is the current form of SAW for cell manipulations without attention of the thermal effects.
