1 Introduction Shape memory polymers(SMPs) attract widespread attention because they are able to maintain a temporary deformation after unloading and recover the initial shape under high temperature conditions 1-5.Sandwich structures are widely being applied to a number of critical industrial sectors such as aerospace,marine and automobile engineering,as they provide outstanding structural performance with limited weight 6-8.
