1 General Introduction In modern technical fields,ferroelectric materials are widelyused due to their electro-mechanical coupling.A drawback hindering their reliable application is their intrinsic brittlenessand thus ferroelectric materials are susceptible to cracking,resulting in critical failure and malfunction of ferroelectric devices.
