A study of failure mechanism of carbon fiber composite plate based on acoustic emission
Composite material has been widely used in the industry field such as:civil engineering and aerospace area.The complex failure mechanisms of composite materials make the nondestructive evaluation become a practical challenge.In this study,the acoustic emission(AE)method is used to explore the failure mechanisms including matrix cracking,delamination and fiber fracture of carbon fiber composite materials.
