A hybrid vibration isolation system based on negative stiffness and semi-active damping
Among passive,semi-active and active vibration control techniques, active control can provide the best isolation performances.However,high-energy consumption hinders the wide application of active control. This paper proposes a hybrid vibration isolation system based on negative stiffness and semi-active damping. In this isolation system, the theoretical control forces calculated by the control algorithm are decomposed into passive negative stiffness forces and semi-active damping forces.
