A human motion electromagnetic energy harvester based on single-cycle Halbach magnetic array
1 Introduction With the development of wearable and portable devices,how to provide a stable and continuous energy supply for low-power electronic devices has attracted the interest of many researchers1.The conventional batteries have the disadvantages of a large volume,pollution problems,limited power supply and high maintenance cost,besides the weight of batteries is normally heavy,which means they will affect the normal activities of the human body.The human motion could serve as a stable source of energy for powering low-power devices.There are three major mechanisms for human motion energy harvesting,which are piezoelectric2,electromagnetic3,and triboelectric4.
