Study on the longitudinal compressive properties of unidirectional carbon fiber and nanoparticles reinforced polymer composites

The longitudinal compressive properties of carbon fiber/nanoparticles reinforced polymer unidirectional composites are investigated by experimental studies and numerical simulations based on fast Fourier transforms method taking into consideration matrix plastic behavior and initial fiber waviness.
