Hydrogels are three-dimensional (3D) networks of crosslinked polymer chains swollen with a large amount of water,bearing similarities to natural tissues and smart responsiveness to external stimuli,making them promising candidates in various applications such as tissue engineering,artificial organs,drug delivery,soft actuators,etc.
