Microencapsulation-enabled multifunctional materials

摘要：

Microencapsulation techniques have been developed since last century primarily for controlled or slow release in various areas,including pharmacy,food technology,cosmetics,etc.The microencapsulated product,namely microcapsule,has a core-shell structure.By tuning shell structures with desired core materials,a vast number of combinations of new microcapsules can be designed and fabricated to realize unusual or unconventional functions that a single material cannot fit.
