NOVEL SHAPE-CONTROLLED TRANSITION METAL-BASED NANOHYBRIDS FOR ENHANCED OVERALL WATER SPLITTING
Nanocatalysts with excellent catalytic activity and long-term stability are importantly concerned topics in the progress of the fundamental science and applied technologies for water splitting application 1.To this, the use of precious metals and nonprecious metals has been extensively tried to gain the required efficiency.Unfortunately, the precious metal-based catalysts have the problems of the natural scarcity and high cost and the nonprecious metal-based catalysts suffer the inadequate catalytic activity and stability, which critically hinder their extensive usage for commercialized applications 2,3.
