摘要：

Prof.Kim received BEng degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Seoul National University;MEngSci in Materials Engineering from Monash University;and PhD in Mechanical Engineering,University of Sydney.Prof.Kim started his faculty career at Australian National University before joining the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1994,where he is currently a Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering;and directs the Finetex-HKUST R & D Center and the Advanced Engineering Materials Facilities.
