PEG-PE micelle based vaccine for treatment of HPV positive cervical carcinoma
Successful delivery of tumor associated antigens (TAAs), such as peptides and proteins, to stimulate T cell immunity could improve vaccine strategies against tumor.Self-assembled PEG-PE micelle represents a novel and promising technology for the protection and delivery of tumor vaccine candidates to antigen-presenting cells (APCs).In our work, we applied self-assembly PEG-PE nanomicelle delivery system on therapeutic vaccine development for cancer treatment. The PEG-PE nanomicelle enhanced efficiently draining lymph nodes (DLNs) resident APCs targeting delivery for cross-priming of antitumor CTL response and demonstrated encouraging efficacy for both tumor control and memory protection. It harbors a great potential for clinical cancer treatment.
