Several simple research techniques to evaluate excipient functionalities
The initial point to be emphasized is that the present research contents do not focus on scientists, but graduate students who are confused in evaluating excipient functionalities.Herein we mainly introduce several simple research techniques to evaluate excipient functionalities to share our study results and experiences.The contents involve surface tension,surface energy, critical micelle concentration (CMC), solubilization, wettability,hygroscopicity and gelatification that are related with excipient partial functionalities.The aim is expected to broaden students vision and effectively play roles in study progress of academic dissertation.It is believed that the present study can provide a certain help towards the development and evaluation of functionalized excipients.
